Cochrane Volleyball Club is powered by the passion and dedication of our volunteers. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for individuals who want to make a positive impact in youth volleyball and help shape the future of our club. Operations Team
Communications Lead
Responsibilities
- Manage club communications, website, and social media.
- Ensure timely updates for athletes, parents, and community.
- Develop promotional materials and newsletters.
- Support brand consistency and public engagement.
- Collaborate with Fundraising & Sponsorship Lead on campaigns.
Term of Office
- 1 year (renewable).
- Appointed by the Board.
Required Competencies
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and social media.
- Ability to create engaging, clear content.
- Organizational and time management skills.
Tournament Committee
Responsibilities
- Support the Tournament Committee Chair with planning and execution of CVC hosted tournaments.
- Carry out tasks as directed by the Committee Chair.
- Help coordinate with facilities, referees, and participating teams.
- Support registration, scheduling, and tournament logistics.
- Model CVC values and ensure a positive environment.
Term of Office
- 1 year (renewable).
- Selected by the Committee Chair with guidance from the Board.
Desired Attributes
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- A desire to promote CVC values.
- Organized and collaborative.
- Knowledge of volleyball competition formats.
